…SOMETHING BLUE (Holy Spirit – Ruach HaKodesh)

Wedding traditions include the “tradition” of the bride receiving three things: something new, something old, something borrowed and SOMETHING BLUE. The Lord gave me some revelation into the “something blue” that I would like to share with you.

The color blue represents the Ruach HaKodesh, or Holy Spirit of God. Therefore the color blue is representative of covering yourself with the presence of God. Blue also represented something divine, which is why royal blue set people apart from the rest of the common world in biblical times. Therefore, to have a something blue represents having something divine and royal, and served to remind each wearer of his significance in God’s sight.

To all wives or wives to be I want you to look at this as not a tradition or just something you do on your wedding day. Actually the wedding day is just the beginning as you begin your marital journey including the very presence of God in your marital covenant. That “blue” is significant to the fact that NO matter what you face in your marriage that because the Holy Spirit is that part of the 3fold cord that your situation is fully capacitated by the very presence of God and that His Divinity and Royalty are a constant reminder to those looking on or possibly tampering with your purpose and destiny that God is involved.

The Holy Spirit is there. He is real. If your marriage is perfect great, STILL acknowledge Him. If your marriage is not great, Acknowledge Him. Let divinity and royalty touch your situation.

The Hittite – Spirit of Fear

  1. “Hittite” means, “sons of terror”; the Hittites were descendants of Heth, whose name means “terror”. The word “terror” refers to an extreme manifestation of fear, and is always related to an element of mystery.
  2. Hittites, being spirits of terror, are stealth operators that attack the emotions and are the spirits behind nightmares and non-rational phobias such as claustrophobia, agoraphobia, exaggerated fear of dogs, and fear of being in the dark. As anyone who has suffered from a phobia can testify, terror produces a sense of deep emotional despair and torment, and causes a desire not to live anymore. Hittite spirits, therefore, are also behind suicides
  3. If you are undergoing deep emotional despair, and suicidal thoughts are haunting you, you are being attacked by Hittite spirits.
  4. A strong prophetic calling usually implies Hittite (i.e.- terrorist) attacks
  5. That battle with despair throughout your life is the result of a strong prophetic calling. God has a mighty calling for you; you have a strong prophetic purpose. Bear the brunt of the Hittite attack; be brave in Christ, and, with the passing of time, you will see the Hittite spirits fleeing from you in humiliating defeat, and your suffering and despair will serve as seed in the kingdom of God to produce mighty victories in the spirit realm that will bless and liberate the lives of many.
  6. A person who suffers from deep emotional despair usually falls into states of deep depression and sadness. If you ever look into a person’s eyes and perceive a sense of deep sadness and despair, you are looking into the eyes of a person under Hittite attack.
  7. Since Hittite spirits prey on people’s emotions, they like to stay in the dark and remain unseen to the mind, whispering speculations into the person’s emotions. This means that people who have the nasty habit of spreading rumors and speculations are people who harbor Hittite spirits in their hearts.
  8. Hittites are distorters of prophetic emotions; they drive people to suicide and despair by portraying a prophetic vision that is not truth-based; Hittites are the spirits that drive terrorists to commit suicide attacks and to shed their lives for false causes; wherever Hittites invade, a sense of chaos, purposelessness, and emptiness soon sets in.

You Hittite spirit, I bind you and your powers from operating against me to break me or to cause me to fear. The activities of doubt and unbelief are bound in my life, in Jesus’ name.  I command you to loose me from fear and the spirit of fear.  All your assignments for my life are brought to naught. And therefore I am free, in Jesus’ name.

The Death of a Strongman

Exodus 2:23 (NKJV) Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.

In this scripture “the king of Egypt” was symbolic of a force that had control over the children of Israel. The bondage represented here was a “generational” bondage. Once the strongman aka king of Egypt died, the cries of those in bondage reaches the ears of God.

Whatever your bondage is or the one you are praying for, bind the strongman of that sin and your cries will reach the ears of God.

For You Said, I will surely…God You Said

For You said, “I will surely…..

Isaiah 43:26

“Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.”

When God promises you that He will perform certain promises in your life. You must remind Him of those promises and what He said He would do. Let’s look at how Jacob reminded God of His promise to him when it looked like it was going in the other direction.

For You Said….surely I will….

“Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, lest he come and attack me and the mother with the children. For You said, “I will surely treat you well, and make your descendants as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude”’” (Gen. 32:11-12).

What has God said the He would “surely” do in your life? Are there still prophetic words that have been spoken that You are still waiting to see in your life. Jacob reminded God and then wrestled with the angel until he got what was promised to him and you have to do the same. What has God promised He would surely do in your lifetime?

For You Said Lord that You would surely…..(You fill in the blanks)

So if you’ve been waiting for months, years or decades for a prophecy to come to pass—and when you’re afraid people and circumstances are going to kill your promise—do what Jacob did. Pray. Remind God of His prophetic word. Wrestle with God in prayer until you have the faith to get up and run toward His perfect will despite what things look like—even if you have to run with a limp. Amen

Seducing Spirits – God You Said

The enemy comes after anyone called by God. He uses your weaknesses to seduce you away from what God has called you to do. No one has to tell us our weakness, we know them well!

God You Said

1 Timothy 4:1 – The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Seduce is defined according to Webster as:

  1. :  to persuade to disobedience or disloyalty

  2. 2:  to lead astray usually by persuasion or false promises

The enemy uses seducing spirits to persuade you to disobey the commandments of God. He uses the five senses that God gave us to persuade with false promises.

Anything that would cause you to walk away from God is caused by seducing spirits. Many have walked away from Christianity and other commitments such as marriage by being enticed by the false promises other faiths or people introduce.

When most hear the word seduce they think of the lusts of the flesh and while this is also true, seduction is much more.

  • Adam and Eve lost their position due to the seducing spirit in the form of a serpent. The serpent twisted God’s words to make it seem that nothing would happen if the fruit was eaten.
  • Samson lost his anointing at the hands of a seductress, Delilah. Delilah used sex and “love” to gain the secret to his anointing. Once she got it, she was gone and so was his anointing.
  • Lucifer attempted to manipulate Jesus by offering things that Jesus already had control over by using fleshly desires. The enemy offered Jesus things He created it.
  • Potiphar’s wife attempted to tempt Joseph by sexual offering.

His Word is to be used as a guide to keep from falling prey to the enemy’s seductive ways.

Enemy Pursuit- God You Said

God has given us supernatural super hero strength to go after our enemies. We don’t wait for them to attack, we go after them.

When David asked God should he pursue, God told him yes pursue and that he would recover all.

ITS TIME FOR A ENEMY PURSUIT! Make a list of all strongmen, spirits and go after them, DESTINY and PURPOSE are waiting on you.

God You Said

““I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. And I have destroyed them and wounded them, So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet.

You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who hated me. They looked, but there was none to save; Even to the LORD, but He did not answer them. Then I beat them as fine as the dust of the earth; I trod them like dirt in the streets, And I spread them out.

The foreigners submit to me; As soon as they hear, they obey me. The foreigners fade away, And come frightened from their hideouts.”
‭‭II Samuel‬ ‭22:38-39, 41-43, 45-46‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Whole Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10 – 18)

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— In JESUS Name, Amen!

Piece of Armor Use How it Applies to your Life
Strong Belt Truth Satan fights with lies, and sometimes his lies sound like truth; but only believers have God’s truth which can defeat Satan’s lies.
Breastplate God’s Approval Satan often attacks our hearts — the seat of our emotions, self-worth, and trust. God’s approval is the breastplate that protects our hearts. He approves of us because he loves us and sent his Son to die for our sins.
Shoes Readiness to Spread the Good News Satan wants us to think that telling others the Good News is a worthless and hopeless task — the size of the task is to too big and the negative responses are too much to handle. But the “shoes” God gives us are the motivation to continue to proclaim the true peace which is available in God — News everyone needs to hear.
Shield Faith What we see are Satan’s attacks in the form of insults, setbacks, and temptations. But the shield of faith protects us from Satan’s flaming arrows. With God’s perspective we can see beyond our circumstances and know that ultimate victory is ours.
Helmet Salvation Satan wants to make us doubt God, Jesus and our salvation. The helmet protects our minds from doubting God’s saving work for us.
Sword The Spirit, the Word of God The word is the only weapon of offense in this list of armor. There are times when we need to take the offensive against Satan. When we are tempted, we need to trust in the truth of God’s Word.
