Prayer for sight

Lord I ask for forgiveness of any and all sin. I plead the blood of Jesus over the eyes of my spouse and myself in Jesus name! I bind you satan in Jesus name, whatever I bind on earth is bound in heaven, whatever I loose in earth is loosed in heaven. I bind you satan, and all of your tactics and schemes. I bind seducing and lustful spirits that would try and influence our eyes in the natural realm. I bind any and everything that would attempt to be a stumbling block to purpose and destiny. I decree that the enemy’s way is dark and slippery and that no weapon formed against our lives shall prosper and every lying tongue that is attempting to rise against us shall be condemned.

I thank You Lord God that our eyes are the lamps of our bodies, I decree that my eyes and the eyes of my spouse are healthy therefore our whole bodies are full of the light of Jesus. We will not look to the left or to the right but will keep our eyes solely on Jesus.

My spouse and I understand that the Lord does not see as man sees; men look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. I thank You that my spouse is a man after God’s own heart. I thank You that I am a woman after God’s own heart. I thank You Lord that we (my spouse and I) do not look upon anyone outside of our marital covenant with lustful intent so that we will not commit adultery in our hearts. My spouse and I will not set before our eyes anything that is worthless for we hate the work of those who fall away; it WILL NOT cling to us!

The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. As we commit our work to the Lord, our plans will be established.

I thank You Lord for laying your hands upon the eyes of my spouse and me again; that our eyes are opened, our sight restored and that we see everything clearly. Our eyes are open to see that there are more with us than against us as you showed Elisha’s servant when you opened his eyes to the mountain being full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. We flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but we understand that the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.

Praise the Lord that the Spirit of the Lord is upon my spouse and me, because He has anointed us to proclaim news to the poor. He has sent us to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. Our testimony of Your grace and mercy in our lives will be used to set others free from the bondage that entraps them.

In Jesus name, Amen!
