The Stand – The Power to Create

Do you know that you were made in His image and His likeness? Do you know what that actually means?

Everything that our Father did we have been given the power to do also.

In Genesis 1 as God was creating the earth he did the following things:

  1. He noticed in verse 2 – Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
  2. In verse 3 – And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

In every situation you are facing do just like God did:

  1. Notice the darkness you are surrounded with,
  2. Speak light into your situation by the Word of God and praying in the spirit (if you have a prayer language),
  3. See what you have spoken into existence, and
  4. Separate your current view from the darkness of the past.

An example for standing – (NOTICE, SPEAK, SEE, SEPARATE)

  1. NOTICE the separation, betrayal etc. you may be experiencing
  2. SPEAK light into your situation – It is written “What God has joined together let no man break apart”, “God hates divorce,”
  3. SEE your marriage healed, your spouse and you enjoying a quiet night at home, serving in the ministry together etc.
  4. No matter what you see in the present natural, SEPARATE it by looking at what you have created by the spoken word. See your marriage healed, see your children restored, see your body healthy….

Just as Elisha told the servant to look again, I ask all of you to take another look and if you don’t like what you see,

CREATE IT, just like your ABBA did in Genesis 1.

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
